of Huntington Beach has formally announced inclusion of additional
eyelid enhancement (blepharoplasty) related procedures to
its plastic surgery practice area. Eyelift or, is a plastic
surgery that basically removes excess skin as well as fat
on upper and/or lower eyelids. It is commonly done for cosmetic
reasons but it is also know to be done to improve vision if
the skin folds interfere with regular vision. This procedure
is one of the most popular procedures in the field of cosmetic
surgery.

PROCEDURE OFFERING WITHIN ABDOMINOPLASTY PRACTICE AREA THROUGH
HUNTINGTON BEACH, PASADENA AND BEVERLY HILLS SURGERY CENTERS
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA: The Plastic Surgery
Institute of Huntington Beach has formally announced inclusion
of additional abdominoplasty related procedures (also known
as Tummy Tucks) to its practice area. Tummy tucks address
concentrated fat deposits, loose skin and sagging abdominal
muscle groups, which may be the result of significant weight
loss, pregnancy or simple heredity. Within the category of
general abdominoplasty, endoscopic abdominoplasty, standard
abdominoplasty, modern abdominoplasty, extended abdominoplasty,
and “mini” abdominoplasty procedures are also
available at the surgery center. While the surgery center
has been offering the service for a number of years, 2010
marks a banner year of growth for the practice area.

HUNTINGTON ADDS SPINAL SURGERY TO PRACTICE AREAS
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA: In order to meet a
growing need, The Plastic Surgery Institute of Huntington
Beach has added spinal surgery and post-operative spinal care
to its practice areas. Among other spinal procedures being
offered, lumbar microdiscectomy, anteriorcervical microdiscectomy,
carpal tunnel release, ulnar neurolysis, spinal cord stimulator
implantation and percutaneous discectomy make up the core
of the surgery center’s offering. Leading this practice
will be Dr. Roger W. Shortz, who practices both in Southern
California and in the Bay Area.
